Spring League
Welcome to the South Stars Spring League registration.
Spring league participation and team assignments are not tied to player placements for the 2026-27 high school hockey season. Rosters for the South Stars JV and Varsity teams for 2026-27 season will be determined based on tryouts, and placement for spring league teams may also be based on performance during the tryout process.
Players are not required to play in all games during spring league. We understand players may participate in other sports or have other commitments during this time. If your player would like to participate in one or a few games, that is fine. As part of the registration process, please indicate what dates you are available. Based on this availability, we will set our rosters for each game. Registration for Spring Hockey closes April 10th.
Participants
Any player who is eligible to play for the South Stars during the 2026-2027 season is encouraged to register.
Teams
We will have 2 teams - Varsity (Red) and JV (White).
Some players may be asked to play some games for both teams.
Junior Varsity (White) Team Games
All games played at Fuel Tank of Fishers on Mondays
April 13 vs. HSE JV - 8:00
April 27 vs. CIK - 8:00
May 4 vs. Carmel Blue- 6:30
May 11 vs. Westfield - 6:30
Varsity (Red) Team Games
All games played at Carmel Ice Skadium on Thursdays
April 23 vs. Zionsville - 6:45
April 30 vs. Westfield- 7:15
May 7 vs. CIK - 6:45
May 14 vs. HSE - 5:45
4 Game Cost
Players who commit to 4 games during registration process, cost will be $120.00.
Less Than 4 Game / Drop In Cost
Players who register for less than 4 games, cost will be $35.00 per game.
Practices
During spring hockey, we do not have any organized practices. The season is strictly games only.
Jerseys
Jerseys will be provided each week for each game.
Players are expected to provide their own socks.
Frequently Asked Questions
How will I be billed for Spring Hockey?
Upon completion of registration process, player will be sent invoice based on number of game they will be playing. Invoices will be sent by email before the first game.
